As an SAP Consultant - Technical, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and implementing high-quality SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) based on functional specifications and business requirements.
• Performing in-depth analysis of existing ABAP code and system functionality to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Developing and maintaining custom SAP applications using advanced ABAP techniques, including ABAP Objects.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues within the SAP environment, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Collaborating closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Ensuring the technical integrity and performance of SAP solutions through rigorous testing and adherence to coding standards.
• Participating in system upgrades, migrations, and support activities, contributing technical expertise.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for all developed objects and processes.
• Conducting performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to enhance system efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and technical consulting.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language, including ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, and ABAP Objects.
• Demonstrable experience with various ABAP development tools and techniques such as BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, and RFCs.
• Familiarity with creating and modifying reports, interfaces, conversions, forms (SAPScript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms), and enhancements.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules and their integration points (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM, PP).
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex ABAP programs and system issues effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Candidates with the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

• Experience with S/4HANA development, including CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
• Knowledge of modern ABAP practices (e.g., ABAP in the Cloud, RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Familiarity with integration technologies such as ALE/EDI, OData, and web services.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager or other project management tools.
• SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
