Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to join our team in Thrissur, Kerala, India. This on-site role is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in daily accounting operations, Tally proficiency, and GST compliance. You will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the financial health of the company. • Manage and execute day-to-day accounting entries, ledger maintenance, and financial record-keeping using Tally.
• Prepare and process billing, invoices, and payment requisitions accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, including calculation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and verify financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
• Coordinate with the sales team to manage sales-related accounting entries, track receivables, and provide necessary financial insights.
• Maintain organized and accessible financial documentation for audits and reviews.
• Support general administrative tasks related to finance and operations.

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime for all accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GST laws and compliance procedures.
• Ability to accurately record and reconcile financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in coordinating with sales teams on financial matters.
• Familiarity with local business practices and financial regulations in Kerala.
