2. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of robust and scalable SAP solutions, encompassing both backend ABAP and frontend Fiori/UI5 components.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including cloud-native applications and extensions.
• Utilize the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build efficient and future-proof services and applications on SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop high-performance data models and business logic using ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Create and enhance Freestyle Fiori applications and custom UI5 developments to meet specific business requirements.
• Develop and manage Mobile Development Kit (MDK) applications for cross-platform mobile experiences within the SAP ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical designs and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, security guidelines, and performance optimization across all solutions.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy for SAP development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.

3. Requirements

• Proven extensive experience as an SAP ABAP/FIORI Full-stack Developer, with a significant portion in a Lead capacity.
• In-depth hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development, including cloud services and integrations.
• Expertise in the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) for building modern S/4HANA applications.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for optimized database operations.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and enhancing Freestyle Fiori applications and standard Fiori apps.
• Solid experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development, including JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, and OData services.
• Hands-on experience with Mobile Development Kit (MDK) for building cross-platform mobile applications.
• Extensive experience with core ABAP development including ALV reports, interfaces, enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots), forms (Smartforms, Adobe Forms), and data conversions (BDC, LSMW).
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration capabilities.
• Familiarity with various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, EWM) from a technical development perspective.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, provide strategic input, and guide development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders in a remote environment.

4. Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Certified Development Specialist – SAP Fiori).
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) in conjunction with SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools for SAP development (e.g., Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with performance tuning tools and techniques for SAP applications.
• Previous experience in mentoring junior developers and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and data modeling.
